They don't fit in the micro USB port and they don't charge regularly. Discontinuous at best. Tried directly to USB and a couple of plugs. There is no joy. Disappointing.

The different length was decisive for my purchase. Not only are these cables well designed, they also have a smaller connector shell than many others I've used, making them easier to fit into phone cases. I've included a comparison image to show another cable with a larger profile.

They can still be gnawed on by dogs and disappear, but I can't recall a single one failing without the help of fangs. I've had the cables for a couple of months now and I can safely say they are durable. One is more than enough, but with five of these cables, it really is a steal, especially at just $7. Although Micro USB is getting old for the die-hard electronics that still rely on it, this is a great cable to buy.
