We bought this playpen because we thought we could give our kitties a chance to explore the sights and smells outside on the back porch without running away. They looted this idea and put it on themselves within minutes. We keep it away as they love to climb on it and play with each other indoors and out. But it is not stable enough for the intended use. It folds up on its own too easily, and with a couple of curious cats, it folds up pretty quickly.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND this product. Extremely cheaply made. The zipper breaks easily, the thing collapses at the slightest weight, and the pup can easily chew through the mesh. I left my fluffy baby unattended in the playpen in our backyard for a short time so she could get some fresh air. When I went outside, she ran away and drowned in a nearby pond. My personal experience is obviously a worst case scenario but I hope it helps to understand the dangers of this utterly useless product.

Our little Boston Cavalier weighs only 3.5 pounds, our large 5 acre world full of predators from above is still too dangerous for our little one to roam around alone. We should watch him all the time. At night he sleeps on his hard side, during the day we carry him inside and take him out when needed, fix him in him when housework distracts our attention from him, let him be with us and safe. Excellent quality! I only wish the top flap was more centered and provided a way to leave it attached…
