Fits wrong, I screwed it all the way in and it still wobbles. I dare not go any further, I know the threads will snap. It's not black, it's black with red stripes. It's nice, but it's rubbish. Missed my return window.

If I were to bet I'd say it could be a manufacturing fault due to very small imperfections. In this case, you will never notice any flaws. This is the same skin as every other TRD derailleur I've had in previous vehicles. The same weight. Same overall quality. Even TRD was stamped.

Installed on a 2015 Tacoma. I had to sand down to the leather part. But come after. And like other people have said, the threads just make it spin. Won't hold it in place, which is good. No trd logo in case anyone is wondering. Feels good in Tacoma.

Looks like something Toyota didn't think was perfect and sold it to another company. Looks good, but the top plastic or sides are not aligned. Not enough to make me go through the return process, but that's just my opinion. That's why I didn't give 5 stars. It says TRD

Exactly what I wanted. This is the TRD version but without the TRD label. Ideal! I hate when people throw TRD parts at their SR or SR5. I have a 14 year old Tundra and it does get a little lost on the pole but as mentioned in another comment a little Loctite and it's fine. I blacked out my entire console and don't want to spend $100 on a button. So far, so good.

Many online reviews of the original Yota pen indicate that a stem extension is required for its correct operation. This one didn't work and works perfectly. One note: It's not as firm as the stock grip, but it doesn't spin freely and doesn't feel unstable or flimsy. I recommend it for 4th gen 4Runner as a stock upgrade. 👍🏻

You might think it's OEM. Great feel and looks as well as a solid build. It rolls just as easily as the original. My original was black and silver and as I wear the ring on my right hand there were many scratches on the silver part. Well, not only does that fix it, but I LOVE the clean and dark look of black. For 1/2 the money of the original manufacturer switch. You can't go wrong with this!
