Ideal replacement for guides and idler bearings

I replaced the squeaky bearings in the intermediate and idler pulleys on my 2000 Ford Ranger 3.0 with these bearings. I took out the gasket and added some grease before installing it. The fit in each pulley was the same as the 6203 bearings they replaced. What used to squeak on the truck is now nice and quiet with these new bearings. At about $2.50 each, it cost me about $5 to fix my problem instead of buying a new tensioner and tensioner for about $50.

Pros
  • ✔ Seal - maintains lubrication and prevents ingress of contaminants. I'll write

Works great for what I need.

I needed bearings for a bassinet I am making for our new granddaughter. Although I haven't finished it yet, I've "tried" the bearings and it looks like they're working great. It has to support a very heavy oak cradle (+ baby) and can actually hold and swing with almost all of my weight thanks to an experiment I did with a crossbar between two tables and supports on either side. The last thing I needed was for the bearings to collapse under the weight. If they can hold and swing me at 200…

Pros
  • ✔ Expert - Professional production of roller bearings started in 1945.
Cons
  • Some mistakes

Does what a camp is supposed to do.

Bought to replace the rear bearing in the pool pump. The old one started making an awful noise when we launched it this summer. Use a bearing puller to loosen the old one from the shaft and a board and rubber mallet to tap the new one. It's been about three weeks and still nothing. After reading other reviews I removed the dust cover and added some wheel bearing grease before installing. It was already quite a bit there and maybe that would have been nice but I figured a little more wouldn't…

Pros
  • ✔ 100% - dimensional accuracy check for optimal assembly.
Cons
