Had to modify bracket (mill or file for mounting clearance) and purchase longer hardware to fit DR650. Installation took a little longer than expected; although the end result was good.

Much cheaper than others and probably nicer. The guys complaining about the inability to reattach the handrails and move the turn signals just don't understand what they are talking about. Perfect Fit only had to buy longer screws for the two front holes to reattach the handrails.

VERY well made and designed C-pillar. Light weight, about a pound or two. To do this, indicators must be mounted on the luggage rack and the handrails removed. I agree, you can grab the bottom of the rack if needed. ALSO -- I cut slits in the turn signal mounting holes, both in the knobs and in the post, to allow for the insertion/removal of the turn signal wiring without disconnecting it. But it will still work. NOTE: There is no installation guide, but there is a video on Youtube.

I've had several different stands for the DR650. This bent sheet metal structure is manufactured by several companies and there are likely to be locally made shelving units of this type wherever you live. However, these shelving units are much more expensive than this one. The sheet metal used in this shelf is slightly thicker than other shelves of this type, has a very good finish and includes fasteners.
