I needed several sets and bought them because they were battery operated and reasonably priced. I am very comfortable. They provide a flame-like light that looks perfect in the windows of our 140-year-old farmhouse. One disappointment - the light sensors don't work so they're always on - but the batteries have lasted a month so it's fine.

Fast delivery. All candles are made of plastic. The so-called bronze base is brown plastic. The light sensor only works when the base is swaying/rotating. Eventually it turned on and stayed on all day. They look cheap and are made that way. I'm sending them back - they don't work properly and not worth the money charged for them. It's about the product, not the seller.

Got them in the mail yesterday and I love them. The color is soft enough to be comfortable to look at inside but bright enough to be seen from the street that passes my house. Can't speak to the battery life yet but I'm sure they will be good based on other reviews I've seen. The function from dusk to dawn is so amazing. The color of the candles themselves is very beautiful and looks just like the picture. Very satisfied so far!

I put 12 in for the holidays and decided to keep them to test battery life. All lasted at least until the last week of January (starting November 25, so about 60 days). As of today (2/2), 4/5 of them are still working. They make it easy for you to get through the holidays. My only complaint is that they could be brighter on the outside but they get the job done and aren't intrusive when sitting next to or sleeping inside!

Good stuff for the price - I bought rechargeable batteries with it. It's important to note that they are 100% orange and not as crispy as your regular candles. Initially I would have liked them to be transparent but the orange grows on me and is a bit more realistic compared to real flames. Can't comment on battery life and they are good value for money but feel a little flimsy/cheap. For example, the base of a candle is not strong but light.

I really have to give Xodus credit for the design and reliability of this product! I ordered 40 of these candles and used 25 of them this Christmas season. I originally put batteries in and put them in my windows on November 18th. I took them off today, December 28th. They were weak but still worked as intended! From the day I installed them until today, EVERYONE OF THE 25 has worked perfectly. They turned on automatically at dusk (or during the day if it was very cloudy) and off at dawn…

Really like them. I've long wanted candles in the windows for the holidays, but was unhappy with the wires, timers, and glass bulbs of others. I have 5 small children so battery operation with plastic bulbs is important for us here. They have a warm glow that can be seen from a great distance - they flicker slightly (in one of my photos you can see the bulbs at different brightness levels because they flicker.
