Dog caught quickly

Our dog figured it out quickly. She is 3 years old and will only sit at the door to go out. It helped us to know when to leave. The bell hangs so low that even a small dog can reach it. It looks well made and looks great on the door. Of course, mothers can have different results, but it worked for us.

The bells aren't very loud - you can't adjust the height

We were disappointed with how little noise the bells made. The bells are not very high quality, when our dog rings them you can barely hear them unless you are close to the door they are hanging on. Also, it doesn't shorten the length of the cord holding the bells from the doorknob. If you have a large dog that requires bells that are higher than the ground, you have your own way of adjusting their height. The cable was well made and had other characteristics that made it an impractical…

We put a rope bell on each door so he can tell us where he's going. We've tried the buzzer solution before, but the pup took too much precision to click it. A cute dog bell, but rather light and call quality is so-so; a bit expensive.

I ordered this to see if it would work as a signal for our pup who likes to nap under the chairs in our living room instead of in his dog bed when we watch TV. It's brown and matches our brown rug perfectly, so it's not always easy to see. We usually hear him snore, but a couple of times we were caught off guard (and he ended up being scared, but not offended). I definitely don't want to be smothered, especially if someone in the chair isn't a family member who isn't used to canine quirks. So I
