. I gave 4/5 because the remote worked great as a replacement but MFR is stupid AF for making a remote with an LCD that cracks when it's on something falls near hard ground.

This remote is just like the one that comes with your Vizio soundbar, including an LED that you CANNOT read in a darkened room while watching a movie, or barely read in a well-lit room. I would pay more for the backlit version.

Reasonable price so I ordered two to make sure I have a good working screen, none of them had a working screen to see what settings you use. So this is the second time I've bought a replacement remote for my Visio surround sound and one of these came with a working screen.

A friend gave me his Vizio S3851X-C4, but the remote control screen was broken. This new remote works like a champ. For soundbars with miniscreen remotes, there is nothing you can do with that soundbar (except GUESS your settings) if that remote fails. $9 well spent to get a free 5.1 soundbar. 5 Stars.

**UPDATE** It seems all my rechargeable AAA batteries are 1.3 volts and alkaline are 1.57 volts. When I switched the batteries to alkaline, the display works fine. When the batteries die/the voltage drops, the screen only works if you press it and turn the remote a little to see what text is behind it.
