🔧 XSPC G1/4" Ball Valve in Sleek Black Chrome Finish Review

The thread is very small, so it doesn't fit longer threads. The close/open valve has no stopping point, it just rotates fully, making it difficult to be sure it is fully closed.

Used for the drain connection. I don't currently have a plug on the end but there are no leaks. This valve looks and works well.

The only downside to this valve is the lack of a stroke limiter. I bought two of these and one of them seemed to have a ball valve opening, maybe a little wider than the other because I didn't set the handle perfectly at 90 degrees and water was splashing all over the place. I'm talking about 80-85 degrees and it was "open". The second valve wasn't as spirited. Just make sure you get this thing absolutely vertical as it can leak.

does exactly what it was made to do and does it very well. When I turn it on, the loop resets. when I close it, yes, you understand. Function is good and reliable. It doesn't turn easily, which is exactly what you need in a release valve. The black chrome looks nice and the shape is way better than most other water cooling valves you will find.
