The product fits perfectly. Removing the old glass was a bit difficult and the plastic tools broke. However, the new glass was easy to install and works great.

A month has passed and it works great. Removing the screen takes time, but be patient and let the heat gun (hair dryer) do the work. You need double-sided tape. The supplied tape is totally inadequate.

The tools were cheaply made and broke immediately. You scratched the screen. Replacing the screen cover does not stay tight. It took weeks to even get here. Overall not a very good product. I wish I had my money back!

The screen looks like what we were looking for, but the hardware to complete the project is rubbish. Both plastic "tools" were completely broken, and the battery pack's foil was torn due to jagged edges and an inability to "peel" the battery from the adhesive. I'm sure this could work with better tools, but for now we'll have to take the whole tablet apart and buy a new one anyway. I'd recommend including basic instructions (although YouTube tutorials are helpful too) and less flimsy tools.

I replaced the digitizer on my daughter's Kindle model L5S83A (located on the back of the Kindle below) and it worked. The process for replacing a digitizer on any tablet or phone is pretty much the same, so if you've done it before, you'll be fine. It's not something you want to do with zero experience. Arrived on time, well packaged and works well on my Kindle 8 7th Gen tablet. The old digitizer was difficult to remove but luckily I had a heat gun. I've seen several videos describing how difficult it was to get the wires and board through the slot to attach the chip to the board. All I had to do was remove the 4 screws from the circuit board and remove the camera and then CAREFULLY remove it from the black inner panel.
