I replaced the digitizer on my daughter's Kindle model L5S83A (located on the back of the Kindle below) and it worked. The process for replacing a digitizer on any tablet or phone is pretty much the same, so if you've done it before, you'll be fine. It's not something you want to do with zero experience. Tools break easily, and it's better to separate the glass from the Kindle body with a razor blade. Keep a magnet handy to hold the screws when removing the motherboard (which I'm not sure is necessary). In general this is a good product.
