I found it difficult to connect devices when using ninth gauge cord. I made an extension for my airflow. After plugging it in, the connections worked perfectly.

Instructions were good. The plug and socket were in excellent condition. The cord from my old extension cord was in excellent condition. There were no endings. Now it looks like a new extension! Very satisfied!

Looks good quality, screws don't slip off like others I've bought. Wire locations are marked so those who don't know can't mess up the connections.

Good price. Works as advertised. Installation is a little tricky for non-electricians. For weather protection, I lift the 30 amp connectors out of the ground and cover them with a plastic bag or piece of wood.

Well designed and built. brass fittings. Two small but annoying problems. First, the screws are a combination Philips #1 and square drive (the square drive has slots for a flat head screwdriver). Second, the ground pin of the connector: the wire must be inserted so that when the pin is reinstalled in the plastic housing, the wire is on the bottom (opposite side of the cover).

I built a 50ft cable using parts from a large department store but wasn't happy with the parts available. After searching and browsing, I ordered a kit and replaced the jack and plug that I originally bought. Easy one finger grip release was a huge benefit. I bought a second set to make a second set of specialty cords. They seal well with a 10-3 rubber coated extension cord, purchased locally.
