I used this cord to fix wooden blinds in my home office. The replacement would have cost more than $95 so I used them for about a $10 repair instead! This was a very easy process, just heat the ends of the cord a little to keep them from fraying while you pull the blinds back up. Now they're pacing nice and smooth, better than ever. The cable quality seems to be very good; Can't comment on durability as I just had it serviced today, but I'm happy with how it looks, feels and is ready to go.

The old shade cord succumbed and was completely unusable (see photo of the old cord). This nylon drawstring just fits perfectly. It was easy to replace the worn out cable with this one which is definitely stronger and I expect it to last a lot longer. It was easy to seal the ends of the cord by applying a small flame to it and gently squeezing the melted nylon to ensure a good seal and prevent the cord from fraying. Spent over $175 on bamboo blinds with installation. They were in a south window in Southwest Florida. Blinds receive all the power of UV and solar heat. After 10 years, the cable broke up. This shadow cable made repairs easy and quick. The original company that installed the blinds said I would have to buy new blinds. It's good to have the right material for a quick repair that works and saves money. Very satisfied with the price and the quality of the product. Hope it holds up, time will tell.
