I love opal! I've been wearing them 24 hours a day, 7 days a week since I've had them and the opals are very comfortable for sleeping. I like that the length isn't very long like some earrings where you twist with a gap if you have thinner petals. . It takes a few times to learn how to screw them in, but it's not that hard. I have sensitive ears, but they don't bother me at all!

I really like these earrings, they are so delicate and small and have the screw back closure that I wanted. I'm allergic to most common metals so these definitely didn't break me! However, if you have long nails or have trouble with small items, beware of small screws! Overall very happy with these!

Thanks to Csprad I found the only way to go crazy. Use duct tape. I bought them in March, it's now August and I couldn't refuse once. Just decided to read the reviews now to see if others are having this issue. They were, and after reading their review and advice, my back came loose in 10 seconds. So glad I found it!

They are very cute and the perfect length for regular cartilage, earlobe, tragus and anterior helix. The gems aren't too small, but they're not big and gaudy either. I have had no symptoms of metal allergy and have always been very sensitive to metal. The only oddity is the beads and flat discs don't match my other 18g and 16g pieces which I can't figure out but other than that they are amazing!

I fell in love with them after figuring out how to remove the backs. My advice is to wrap a piece of tape around the back for something more secure to grip (see attached image for tape and size reference). They are really light and cute. I forget I even wear them when I sleep. My only complaint is not being able to screw my back after having a bar in my ear.

You are perfect! Like other reviewers, I wanted to evaluate my existing cartilage as it should be. For cartilage. I also bought 16g as that is my ultimate goal. I insert them into my 3 cartilage piercings with no discomfort or pain. They were incredibly comfortable to sleep in and I look forward to upgrading to 16g soon! Beautiful and comfortable product, I couldn't be happier! We'll see how the backs hold up, but no problem so far!

I know, I know, I can't get a cartilage piercing on Claire, but here we are. I got it pierced years ago and wanted to stop wearing regular earrings when I pierced, so the only way to do that was to start measuring it for regular cartilage piercings. This set was exactly what I needed. The opal pin is in my ear now and I feel great. Within a few days the pain was gone. The sticks don't get green pierced, and the screw-on ball doesn't irritate my ear or the side of my head like traditional sticks
