Suitable for water sports

Used for the first time this weekend. The bungee strap holding the rudder broke. I ended up losing my paddle because of a small splash. Luckily I tied him to the bungee. Need something about a bungee.

Pros
  • Made in the USA and backed by our Lifetime Warranty
Cons
  • The list goes on.

Great idea Bad design and MFG

The idea was great, the design and production is not up to scratch. Easy installation but the end holding the two wires together fell off off on the first day. (2 hours of light use) I will probably repeat. I recommend only using this for storing your paddle in the garage.

Pros
  • Use a harness to hold the paddle securely
Cons
  • Not sure

ELASTIC STRAPS BROKE AFTER ONE USE

Unbelievable how quickly the belt broke. (Looks like the end clamp didn't hold securely) One trip down the river and strapped only while we lowered the kayak into the river ONCE. Expected more from a big brand. They are very easy to install and the paddle holders themselves feel solid. But the belt "shit". Some buyers might not care. They work without the use of straps, but this is the principle of failure of product properties.

Pros
  • Two points of contact with the chain
Cons
  • Repair
