Cannot be installed on edge and grooving cutters

2 hours for installation. I watched YouTube videos and they all started with the same introduction. Nice joint but terrible to set up. Even the other brands that came with the mounting block were only "close". It still took too long to get through after using the tuner. You will need to use double sided tape to stick the piece on top to avoid tearing off the top edge. Using a ruler to install the fence was a clue. The problem is not related to the brand, it seems to be the same for all brands.

Take your time, understand the connection geometry

I am convinced that those who give such a bit (miter lock) a bad name simply do not understand how to set it up. To cut grooves in material that is the same thickness as the overall height of the carbide tip, use the entire cutter. Even with a table and a fence. For anything other than adjusting the thickness, you'll need to use a larger cutter for thicker material, or put the cutter deeper into the table and guide for thinner material. Unless you plan your entire tooling to the exactโ€ฆ
