Description of ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Shogun USA-Made Black No Cut Frame Sliders for 2017-2022 Yamaha FZ10 FZ-10 MT-10 MT-10 SP ABS & Non-ABS Models - Part# 750-6819

***NO BODY MODIFICATIONS REQUIRED***. All Shogun Motorsports standard kits have SPARE PARTS AVAILABLE along with a 1 YEAR FREE puck replacement WARRANTY for White, Black and PA2 kits. All frame slider kits come with left and right frame sliders and all necessary mounting hardware. Contact Shogun Motorsports for details. Shogun frame sliders are superior to other frame slider brands by virtue of their construction and material. Shogun pucks are made of shatter-proof UHMW infused with UV protective polymer. Shogun pucks absorb kinetic energy from crashes and will not shatter in cold temperatures like some types of foreign recycled Delrin or fade in the sun. Each puck has a press fit aluminum bushing to hold it in place during impact to reduce the risk of the puck tearing off of the mounting point. Shogun uses socket head bolts in nearly every kit, allowing for stronger frame slider design in a more compact space. Newer applications of Shogun Frame Sliders make use of a counter sunk design, which distributes the force of impact over a wider area and gives additional strength to the system so that the puck remains attached to the motorcycle. Some Shogun products are available in a 3 piece kit which consist of matching frame sliders, swing arm spools and bar ends. Made in the USA.

Cheap bolts included

The bolt holding the slider to the bike broke easily. The bike's rear tire slipped due to a suspension issue, the bike fell over and broke the bolt holding the slider to the frame.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Faulty

A bit awkward but nice

Left side frame/motor mount screw is not long enough on my 2017 FZ10. Fix east with a trip to the hardware store, but a little effort. Well made and looks high quality.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Nothing

51 lbs of torque per service manual

Easy installation, longer one goes on the left side of the bike, one at a time. 51 lbs of torque according to the service manual and I used Locktite. useless. Safe journey friends!

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Reliability

Very good product. After the bike came to a stop only the exhaust heat shield, the exhaust tip and a small scratch on the mirror were damaged. I couldn't believe it. I love the simple look and feel of shogun sliders. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Don't really like it, everything is fine

Suitable for my 2019 Yamaha MT10.

I have a small problem. I got one side ok with no problems, but on the left side the motor had somehow moved just enough for the bolt to come back into the hole very hard. So I had to loosen all the bolts holding the motor in place and try not to move the motor even 1/16 inch to get the bolt back in.

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Security

Money saving parts

Easy to install and it saved me hundreds of dollars when I picked up my FZ10. The puck broke in half and was still intact. I did manage to crack open the stator case so I would have padded those frame sliders with extra protection, but on their own they were great for protecting other fragile parts of the bike, particularly the expensive plastics and heatsink.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Something's wrong

Everything is great except for the end of the bar.

Haven't had to crash test them yet so can only comment on the fit, build and material quality. Thank God. At the same time, the frame glides fit perfectly, and their assembly is not difficult. The footage looks the same as any other frame slider I've bought, so I think they'll work just fine. The pendulum coils are nice and bulky and have a good channel for the stand. The fit is a little odd as they hang over the edges of the bobbin threads a bit, but overall it doesn't look unusual unlessโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Positive only
Cons
  • Can be damaged
