I bought these speakers in 2011. I installed them on the patio under the house and left them there. Never took them down. They've survived freezing temperatures, very hot temperatures, snow, rain, etc. and still sound as good today in 2017 as they did when we installed them. For around $70 for a pair of outdoor patio speakers, what can you go wrong? the only ones that work on my sundeck so I'm skeptical about the sound. For the money and purpose I am very happy with them. I can tilt them slightly to indicate different directions, set up was very easy, and combined with the volume control they do a great job of playing music on my patio.
