Yamaha NS P150 Surround Speaker Package Review

Speakers are fine. Not the biggest. But I think it's good value for money. These are not high-end speakers. So don't expect premium sound quality. I had imagined the speakers to be much larger.

These speakers were compact, lightweight and produced excellent sound quality. I installed them in a large room and these three units complemented the two speakers at the top of the room very well.

You didn't specify the ohms of the speakers. I need 8 ohm speakers for my stereo, it's only 6 ohms and you don't say it in your description. Luckily I was able to use this on another stereo. Never buy anything with plastic on it and this one has a lot of plastic on it. Yamaha has really gone downhill!

Took without listening. Connected at home to a cheap home theater out of the box (F4500). I put it on the center and front instead of regular boxes, because the latter sounded very muffled. Most clearly, the speakers reproduce the top, the beautiful rustle of cymbals, everything is in order here, even more than expected. But with medium frequencies worse. Against the background of a subwoofer and tweeters, the mids failed. I had to connect the regular speakers from the home theater in parallel,

I listened to them in the cabin, along with the Yamaha BP150, and so, if the BP150 is still played somehow and can be purchased with a very limited budget, then when this kit was turned on, it was just a nightmare, it felt like plastic computer speakers were playing. There are no lows, no mids, high frequencies have unpleasant poking. They turned on a jazz composition with female vocals, so it seemed as if the singer was smacking her lips.
