I like this paper very much

Excellent paper for alcohol ink. Retains perfectly bright colors and feels very soft. It doesn't warp or wrinkle when soaked in alcohol, and the ink spreads as well as it does on Yupo paper, without a glossy finish.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Almost everything is included

Loose ink on mineral paper

New Yupo-like drawing pad but much thinner, coated with calcium carbonate, feels like a smooth eggshell. Water color flows less, but dries on the surface like Jupo. Great for an artist who wants to draw more freely.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Finally, I apply a good fixing spray

Having adjusted the painting technique for this non-absorbent paper, I now prefer it for my paintings. The paint gives an organic look as it puddles and dries slowly. I finish off with a good fixing spray and the result is a strong flexible plastic type.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Works like Yupo crafting

I love this paper. I use it for alcohol inks and it works just like the Yupo (at a much better price)! it's thinner and more flexible than the Yupo, but liquid flows just as nicely over its smooth surface. I thought it would warp, but it didn't (I'll write it down as I work with it). Highly recommended.

Pros
  • It's awesome
Cons
  • Some bugs

I love this substrate

I love this substrate for alcohol ink. It's not as heavy as Yupo, but also cheaper. Depending on the brand of ink and mixing solution you use, you may need to make minor adjustments to get the same results as the Yupo. I have only found two sizes of mineral paper so far and wish more outlets would sell this wonderful product.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
