The "8 Quart Bowl" is actually only 6 quarts. I suspect that some of the other shells might have misleading markings as well. Walk past a valued buyer/website.

just got my 13 qt. bowl and it arrived with 4 dents on the bottom of the bowl. Also, the bowl doesn't sit flat! It was supposed to be a present for my sister-in-law! Extremely disappointed!

Not bad, but not outstanding either. This shell is definitely not as thick and durable as I was hoping. You can definitely stick your finger in the bottom of the bowl and hear a click. Still, I decided to keep the bowl knowing it probably wouldn't last as long as my other stainless steel bowls and will look elsewhere next time.

While searching for stainless steel mixing bowls from Revain I ordered two of these bowls in different sizes, 5 and 8 liter. They're the thinnest stainless steel bowls I've ever seen, so thin I'm afraid to fill them completely with water. One of them arrived so scratched and used that I sent it back for a replacement. look for something different, a different brand, a different manufacturer

I ordered a heavy duty 4 inch, 3 liter capacity stainless steel bowl to grind food with the curved grinder. I have a 3.5" tall, 2.5 liter capacity stainless steel bowl that isn't made for heavy use, especially the bottom. I expect it will be pretty easy for me to get through the bottom to cut when I use it to sand things. I also didn't appreciate the actual size and sizes that don't match the description in the listing. If I really needed a 4" or 3 qt bowl this would be it Rating 1 star.

Very nice bowl. The sides of the bowl are quite sturdy and clearly stand up to mixing. The bottom one is a little less - it flexes in and out a bit when squeezed. Filled with water, it carries well, but I wouldn't want to use it to carry stones. Although I bought this to use as a reflector for my homemade grow light, my wife wants to steal it to mix up large batches of her Easter bread. She can get hers!
