The reason for the 2 sprockets is that they work great in the Singer 201-2 when wound manually, but as some others have said the hole is slightly offset so you don't use it can the winder built into the machine. I will have to modify them with a dremel. Maybe the company will fix the bug.

I bought these spools because the description said they were made for the Singer 201. There is a small hole on the spool that should fit the stud. on the winder of the machine - does not match. I don't have a separate winder and it's too late to return it, so I wasted my money on this purchase.

Says class 66 but they are thicker than needed for a household sewing machine. Also, the side hole to block the winder is not in the right position. It has to be a slot to make it universal. When I looked at the packaging, it said a specific part number for a specific machine. It can be industrial machines.
