Faulty winch fails in automotive emergency

This product failed me when I needed it the most. The winches were poorly constructed and barely worked from the start. I couldn't rely on it in an emergency, which defeats the purpose.

Pros
  • None
Cons
  • Poor construction, unreliable

Best connector for winch ropes

These connectors are used to connect the winch to my bumper. This makes it easier to disconnect and reconnect if I need to remove the bumper from my jeep. I've done this more than once in these best hookups I've ever found.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Nothing here

Works great with winch accessories

Looks like good materials, works as expected. Pin contacts are designed for large copper cables; I think up to 2nd or 4th caliber. (not mentioned in the product description). My 4 gauge winch lines left plenty of room in the pins before being crimped. You will definitely want to use a crimping tool rated for 2-4 gauge pins; I didn't have the right tool and made a real mess as I couldn't crush the pins properly. They're very thick and stiff, and if you accidentally flatten them instead ofโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Can't remember
