My Yetis are my new best friends

I loved my 36 ounce Yeti Rambler so much I bought a bigger one. My drinks stay cold for two full days, making it easy to prepare and consume my daily water goals. I use my smaller Yeti to make iced coffee in the morning and the big one fills up with water to get through the rest of the day. I was able to stop drinking sodas because they work so well. Now all I need is a new machine with cup holders that fit these bad boys! 👍👍👍

Incorrect top cover design.

First, I like my Yeti 64oz Rambler, but the only complaint I have is the top lid of the stack. Because the large bottom cap and top cap screw in the same direction, it's hard to know when to stop tightening the cap. So when tightening both caps. with light pressure. The upper eyelid peels off quickly. The problem is that the bottom cover is made of hard plastic and the top cover is made of softer plastic. Suggestion: Yeti - please make the top cap out of stronger plastic or simply swap the…

Nice but this lid is a pain

I always thought Yeti was the best so I bought it without research. I find ice cream decent depending on what type of ice cream you put in it. Some ice seems to last longer. It looks great, color, size maybe a bit big, 36oz would be perfect but I like the 46oz capacity. The only thing missing is the lid. For example, why do you have both the pants and the head screw in the same direction? I almost broke my wrists the first time I realized I had overtightened them. Almost had to get a rascal to…

Not as good as I thought

I bought this to take to work hoping it would keep liquids cold throughout the day. Due to kidney disease it is very important that I stay well hydrated throughout the day. My usual method is to mix 32 ounces of Gatorade in a pitcher the night before and then refrigerate it overnight. The next morning I fill it to the top with ice cubes and leave for the day. Every day we end at 3:00 p.m., by which time all the ice has melted and the liquid begins to heat up. I try to keep it out of the sun so…

Not a particularly well insulated container.

Like most Yeti items, beautifully finished. For the price I would expect this to be a really good product for what it does: keeping warm (hot or cold). In my case, I bought it to drink hot coffee at work all day long. As an engineer I did an experiment by filling it with hot tap water (measured at 124F) and came back 5 hours later and only measured 111F. For comparison, I have a Stanley 1qt classic (like your grandfather probably had). The water entered at 122F and TWELVE hours later it was…

Better than a thermos

My morning routine is to brew fresh coffee and then pour it into a thermos. I hate overcooked or overcooked coffee. My old one was getting very shabby and leaking so I started looking around. I was thinking of getting one of Yetis' half-gallon pieces, but it's only 18 ounces smaller and half the price. I went with it. I ended up buying an alternative lid at a local hardware store. The standard caps don't really match the bottles. They are not as good both hot and cold as bottles. The good news…

Pros
