LI Corporation Miracle Invisible Thread - Works Great

Invisible Thread is great for some sewing projects. When using it, you need to put the mesh on the thread, because it can slip off the spool from time to time, and you also need time sewing with it. With my Ellegante 3 baby lock it was best to increase the coil tension during use. You can use your own coil, just be careful not to wind it too tight - otherwise I've had no problems with it. The thread does not change color over time. It takes a long time. It works great, just slowly.

The best invisible thread

I always buy YLI invisible thread. The only thing I do differently with this is wind the bobbin slowly so it doesn't get too tight on the bobbin and I don't use my automatic thread cutter to cut the thread or it will pop out of the needle. This thread is great for sewing colorful quilt blocks together when you don't want the colored thread to show. I've tried other brands and couldn't get them to work at all with my machines, but I can use YLI perfectly on my sewing/embroidery machine.

Sanity Saving Invisible Thread

I often use invisible thread—both upper and lower thread. I find it much better than the transparent sulky. This thread is soft and pliable, while Salki is tough and twisted - and constantly tested my wits. Also, this thread took up the mesh tubing well and didn't give me the slightest problem unwinding from the spool. And again, on the contrary, the sulky thread spool kept hanging up in the slots no matter what I did. I even tried to archive them but to no avail. I give YLI threads 5 stars to…

Works great when top tension is down

I have used several brands of sheer thread in different weights in the past. This is by far the prettiest thing I've tried and I've made quite a few wood motion quilts and applique quilts with sheer yarn. That works great. Just keep in mind that you may need to decrease the upper thread tension, it is quite strong and will quickly tighten the lower thread if not adjusted correctly. I reduce the tension to half of what is required when using polyester or cotton over it. Nice smooth and very…

My granddaughters wear boy scouts and need patches to sew onto one of their vests. First I smoothed out the patches and then used this invisible thread to secure. I then ironed the patches again where the edges had come loose during sewing to complete the look. I was thankful that the thread did NOT melt, which was very annoying at first! Works perfectly! I would use this invisible thread for quilting and anywhere where two fabrics of completely different colors are used, or in prints, or in…

Excellent Invisible Thread for Machine Quilting

I use invisible (exclusive) thread for machine quilting and applique. This year I used invisible yarn for three quilts and countless appliqués. I have tried three main brands and the YLI brand is by far the best for my purposes. It feels softer than others, the thread is flexible, drapes and doesn't wrinkle like many others. It's durable for a monopoly and there were no problems with washing or ironing. The most important thing for me is that it is really invisible on the application. It has a…
