100% Egyptian Extra Long Staple cotton processed in the USA. Soft Touch is a very fine cotton thread Use it for quilt piecing and bobbins. Soft Touch is a thin cotton thread used for quilt piecing because it doesn't add much bulk to seams and the economical 1000yd spool goes a long way. Neutral Soft Touch colors blend with many quilt fabrics. Soft Touch is also used for bobbins - especially for embroidery - because bobbins hold more yards of thinner thread and the economical 1000yd spool goes a long way.

ideal for machine embroidery

This is a great thread for use in machine embroidery bobbins. YLI underwear thread was better, but since I can't find this item anymore, this thread is the next best thing.

Unreliable and not worth the money

This model was recommended to me by another seamstress in the facebook group but after trying to use it for a few projects it kept breaking and is for that Machine sewing almost inappropriate any stuff. Art...don't waste your money. I needed to know the price and stick with my guns if I was only buying high quality brand name yarns that I have used and trusted for years.

If you want your embroidery to be perfect you need to have the right building blocks

I have been using Soft Touch bobbin thread for a long time. This is a quality product and I count on it every time it arrives. This product ensures that your embroidery creases less. It's strong, flexible and durable. It is 100% cotton, you can iron on the back of the embroidery without pressing the fabric. My fault is that I use a very hot iron and this material is hard enough for me. This thread is great for sewing heirlooms and the quality is impeccable. I always know what I want for…
