Just right for summer! My daughter can cuddle with it and doesn't get too hot. We take it everywhere because of its versatility. This is a great sunshade for a stroller or car seat that doesn't retain heat nearly as much as other duvets and blows nice in the warm summer breeze. The more we use it, the softer it becomes. This blanket is really cute BUT if you are looking for a PINK Flamingo Blanket keep an eye out. I bought these as a gift to help make a diaper cake and I was looking for a true pink. Instead, it's more of a coral pink. If that doesn't matter to you, they are adorable. I'd like to use them, but I have a specific goal, so they need to be a specific color. These will be returned. I was concerned it would be poor quality due to the price and I read some reviews that the pattern has cracks and they are not soft either. As some others have said they get softer the more times you wash them, I immediately washed mine twice in a row to let them rest and after each wash they got softer. I didn't have a tear in the chevron either, but maybe that's just luck. For the price they are definitely worth it. I love them for a kid because they are beautiful, light weight and breathable

I have several different brands of muslin blankets. I'm always on the lookout for muslin blankets with fun and not-so-cartoon prints. I live by the sea and love finding ocean prints. I was looking for muslin blankets but didn't want to spend $30 or more for two. I found her and I love her! I will say when you first get them they don't seem that soft, but after washing them a few times they get a lot softer. I've washed mine maybe 3 times and they are softer! I have another set from the same company that I keep in my dress pocket and they are very soft. They have been washed many times so I can imagine my new set getting softer and softer with every wash! I bought the dog blue color (a solid blue, one with blue and green dots) in July when the price was normal (for some reason this color is terribly expensive now) ? ). I measured them and they are 46 x 46 inches and I haven't noticed any shrinkage in the wash, although of course they "wrinkle". They are light, soft, slightly stretchy and useful for many things.
