Works perfectly. Batteries are like lava.

I really liked this flash as soon as it was published. I bought this flash as a backup and ended up using it as one of my two main flashes at weddings. It is very easy and intuitive to use. I only use the flash intensively when taking pictures in the dark and after a while I noticed at my first appointment that it behaves a bit inconsistently when holding it and smells funny. I took out the batteries, grabbed them in my hand and immediately threw them on the ground. They were too hot to even…

Great flash! Shoe Mount Flash

As an amateur photographer, I couldn't bring myself to spend hundreds of dollars on a flash, especially when I knew I would only use a flash occasionally. So I looked around and finally decided on the YN-560 IV and was more than satisfied. This diffuser flash was perfect for my Sony A7s and the recharge time was fast enough for me. Although it's manual and non-TTL, I love the fact that it has many different features that make it a must-have flash for your cameras. A few flaws that took a star…

Great for the price but a bit quick-tempered

I recently bought two of these flashes. It was a week before the big wedding concert and my canonical flash broke. I borrowed two more identical flashes from a photographer friend of mine. The place where we filmed was very dimly lit (ooh!) even during the day. But I installed these lights in three corners and the fourth is on my camera. What I like most about these flashes is that one flash can be used to control others. This not only saves money but is also VERY convenient. I shot 10 hours…

My session saved! No hesitation

I was a little hesitant about buying this flash because I looked at a million reviews and they all said that the quality was great at first but over time subsides. I mostly shoot in the studio, but sometimes I do weddings too. I received this unit as well as two YN560 III. I decided to take the plunge and buy this YN560 IV because it can act as a master for the YN560 IIIs I've bought. When they arrived earlier this week I just left them in the boxes because I didn't need them for a while, but…

AWESOME lightning! for camera and photography

The perfect flash for every skill level. I'm just starting out with non point and shoot camera photography. I was able to get a Canon 7D from a friend of mine and he suggested this particular flash. After some reading, very few PROS advise against this flash. Compared to $500+, it's amazing that this flash can compete with well-known brands. The only thing is the camera can communicate with the flash so you can't meter it, but it only takes a couple of shots to get the flash output up. I…
