I bought this item for my wife because she had problems with her phone charger with the USB-C cables we bought. When she opened the box she was so grateful and when she pocketed it and put her phone on it the smile was ear to ear. I tested it by connecting a micro USB cable to it and the tablet. Worked like a champ! I'll be buying another one or two soon.

I really like this charger. It works very well for most devices and the USB-C port is a real added bonus. I only gave it 4 stars because it doesn't charge my iPhone pro max 12 through the rather thin Spigen case. And yes, it has a small fan that you can't hear but can feel. The fan works great and both the charger and my device on the charger never got hot. Overall good value for money.
