Not a big fan of the wicked version. I write a lot of letters to my wife and prefer the wickless version for two reasons. 1) the wicks tend to die out. This kind of wax is not intended to keep a candle burning. You have to hold it at just the right angle to keep the wax melting without the flame going out. 2) Because the flame is so weak, it takes a while to get enough wax melted to use a seal. so parts if it will dry out before you have enough to seal. Half the size of the sticks I remember as a kid. If new to the practice, you'll easily blow through a couple of sticks in practicing size and angle so you don't get black streaks and you get a fast enough stream of melted material for a good impression from the stamp. The wick extinguishes easily. I'm - eh meh - about the product. It's overpriced in my book for what it is.

I bought these in the different colors. And while the quality of the wax is nice and the colors are true to what I expected, I've since moved on to different products. If you get the same sticks without wicks or just switch to the beads, it's worth your time. These take forever to melt and if you are not careful the melted wax could snuff out the flame. I used these to stamp letters for my small business. I don't use the Wick because it's too slow;I just cut them up and melt them using an actual spoon from a stamp kit. But overall they worked great! I get 16 or so wax seals out of each stick.

I love the wax but the wick doesn’t melt it on it’s own. I have to hold it sideways and use my lighter like a flame thrower. Maybe there is a better way.It makes a nice seal however.

The wax melts beautifully, and smoothly applies onto surfaces for pressing with a wax seal. Love the color! Wicks may not light easily.

These are great if you are careful with how quickly you melt the wax. If you turn the candle wick upside down too much, it burns the wax and the melted wax is blacker/spotted. If you're careful with holding them horizontally while wick is on, the wax melts much more smooothly/cleanly. I also think it would've been useful if there was a way to hold these (not with fingers) as the last fourth of the candle is wasted; the wick being on makes it a little warm towards the end.

The wax is a lot shinier/ almost shimmery when melted and a little darker than it looks on the stick but still very beautiful

I loved this product! It was perfect for my wedding invitations! The only thing I didn’t like about it was when you got to the end of each stick you weren’t able to hold the stick anymore with out burning yourself. There wasn’t a lot left at that point but enough for one more stamp. I would have liked to been able to use it all. However, makes for a good reason to get more than one stick too.

wax works well; but the wicks burn down too quickly and I had to use external source to melt the wax after the first use. Thanks for attention.

Love the color, these are good, but they cool to fast. I have to keep an additional lighter going on the wick. Thanks for attention.

I just got into wax seals and wanted like a sampler of wax colors to start with. The wax colors are true to the pictures and work well (though it takes a bit of practice to get a good amount of wax down to seal it). Would make a good piece to a wax seal starter kit.

First time using wax stamps. Loved the color of this, but the wax dripped very slowly and was almost too hard to press by the time there was enough to stamp. Overall, pleased with the product.

I love everything about these wax sticks except for how slowly they drip wax when lit. Faster than a regular candle but still slow (maybe I'm just impatient, I dont' know.). I didn't want to go with one of those kits with the spoon, candle, and wax bits because I wanted something minimal. I think I'll just try taking a lighter to the stick to get wax faster.

Wax is incredibly stringy like melted plastic. Wick burns up before wax has a chance to melt so you have to use an external heat source.Smells funny, not like wax.
