Description of Yorkim LED Load Resistors - Fix Hyper Flash, Blink & Error - 50W 6ohm - Pack of 4

【Fix Error Codes】 - Yorkim 4pcs 50w 6ohm Load Resistors can fix your LED lights problems such as blinker flash error, no flashing or burnt out bulb indications, hyper flashing of led turn signal or license plate light bulbs, OBC error messages of other LED bulbs. 【Current Control】 - The 50watt 6 ohm resistor will control the current flow in electrical circuits and put a specific amount of resistance into your LED lights to make it function properly. The resistor is made of high quality materials to sustain a long period of time. 【Easy Installation】 - It is super easy to install these LED resistors, just connect one wire to ground and other wire to the turn/brake wire. Apply provided quick wire clips so you don't have to cut any existing wires. It will work on any vehicle and can be connected across the turn signal bulbs or License Plate Lights to simulate the load of a regular filament bulb (2 Amp load). 【Attention】 - Load Resistor gets very HOT when working, please mount it on metal surface. Do not mount on plastic surface, hose or painted surface to avoid melting. One load resistor is required for one turn signal bulb or one license plate bulb. Easy installation once I figured it out

The name says it all. I watched a 3 minute YouTube video on how to install resistors (pretty much all are universal) and in less than ten minutes I had two working turn signals! They got four stars just because the little manual in the box can show the buyer how to install it; It's really easy once you know what to do! I have Yorkim LEDs in all but ONE section of my car (that's a lot of exterior and interior bulbs) and I couldn't be happier.

Solder the connections and use self-adhesive tape

They definitely did their job and eliminated the hyperflash on my Chevy Silverado 07 (new body style). You need self-tapping screws. I would also suggest soldering them on to make sure you get a good connection. As long as they are installed correctly, they will work! I actually added some wire so if I need to remove the headlight again it gives me extra room to change bulbs. I also used self-adhesive tape to seal the joints. Locktite has some very good self-adhesive tapes.

Be careful with Silverados: headlights and lighting accessories

My Silverado detects a drop in turn signal current to detect a burned out bulb. These resistors should mimic the current draw of the original bulbs. The rapid blinking stopped when I replaced a blown incandescent bulb with an LED bulb and one of those resistors. When I replaced the second bulb with an LED in parallel with the resistor, the rapid blinking resumed. The circuit worked in all respects: all the headlights lit up, and the two equivalent load resistors heated up about the same. I'll…

To use hot so needs to be attached to metal

Resistors work great except they are HOT when the parking lights are on; Resistors work in excess of 200 degrees Fahrenheit! The installation is quite simple electrically: a simple parallel connection (jumping the existing 2 +/- wires, no polarity) between the existing flashing light activating the 2 wires. Parking light cables do not need to be connected. We advise you to use a voltmeter to determine which 2 wires will activate the turn signal function, after this you will need to plan the…

Took a week in lights and lighting accessories

Only needed 2 of these for my taillights but ordered 4 packs anyway. When it arrived there were only 3 in the package. As I mentioned I only needed 2 so I didn't bother sending them back. These resistors must be installed behind the taillight housing, so you will have to drill holes in the car to screw or rivet them; They are not very easy to install, but do not require higher education. I was happy with them for the week they worked; The LEDs were bright and everyone knew when I was turning. A

2 out of 4 bad out of the box but it worked

One of their competitors claims to have stronger connectors where wires are connected to resistors. I had to go with them. One plug was open, the wire came loose under the insulation, simply because it was pinched in transit. I knew it was open as soon as I touched it and the VOM confirmed it. Another did the same while I was installing it. I only needed two of the four resistors, and luckily the other two stayed together, at least when installed. I can also salvage the two bad ones by making…
