Exceeded all expectations!

The part fit perfectly and with the help of the YouTube video it was very easy to assemble. More than a month has passed since installation, with daily use there were no problems with it.

Will not work properly in 1999 Honda Accord

Will not fit 1999 Honda Accord, will not allow the shifter to move high enough in neutral and will not allow the keys to be removed from the ignition. I should have read more reviews as I see this is an ongoing issue that others have mentioned.

Works well and gets the job done.

The plastic gear knob on my 20 year old car broke. This new one works perfectly, just like the old one before it broke. I wasn't surprised that the 20 year old plastic broke. When I took it off and looked at the old one, a drop of lithium grease applied at the factory seemed to seep into the old plastic and weaken it. So I cleaned the switch fitting and installed a new one dry and without lithium grease. The new one works fine, it's been 2 months since I installed it.

was very easy to put on, but something is wrong with the shape. I have a feeling the corner groove in the plastic replacement part is the wrong size. Although I cut out the inside of the groove to allow the metal part to fit better in the plastic, it wasn't enough. Although the switch moves, it does not allow the key to return to the locked position to remove the key. Then I loosely fastened the handle, gave the butt a place on top, and only then could I remove the key. nothing to do with a…

Change Required

This replacement part does not have the same tolerances as the original part. Actual installation is simple but requires part modification to function properly. The inside of the knob is designed to accommodate a metal plunger that converts horizontal movement to vertical. This pushes the mechanism to the center of the shift plane, allowing you to move the shifter from Park to Drive and so on. The problem is that the inside of the spare is too tight and it gets stuck on the metal piston…
