Used for shower panel

I used to replace the water turbine that was installed in my shower panel, which was cheap. It took a little tweaking, but it worked great! This one should last a lot longer than the one that came with my shower panel.

Pros
  • It's amazing
Cons
  • Actually I don't like it, it's ok

Works well: generators and portable power supplies

Used this to repair my shower screen after the included turbine died. I just reconciled it with the old one as the temp sensor is in the old one. After I cut the power wiring on this new one, everything works again. Very happy with it.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Repair

Doesn't generate current

When I finally got to the connector I had no current on the meter. Realizing I was outside the return window, I opened it up to find it was dirty inside and didn't spin well. Disappointed but bought another brand it seems to work.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Good, but not great

The best way to charge your phone is in generators

Really cool and well made piece. I taped it to a kitchen faucet as a makeshift compression fitting. Connected a voltmeter and USB connector. I started charging my iPhone. It would be very convenient if the electricity goes out when the water is still flowing but there is no electricity.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Whoever is under pressure has power.

This attached video shows me testing this generator. The piping gives enough pressure to bring it up to 12 volts. For now I have it attached to the keg but I am getting 4.9 volts on a full keg. I need to change my configuration to increase the pressure. In general this is a good product.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • So so

Output voltage 12 VDC suitable for generators and portable power supplies

Works as expected. Connected to the faucet in the toilet. Using the city's water pressure, it immediately spun up and output 12 V DC. Used teflon tape, maybe four turns to reduce leaks. The thread is the same, 1/2 " NPT, 14 turns per inch, like a shower head. Didn't last long. Video reviews with disassembly of this or similar devices on YouTube.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging
