I gave up due to overheating and power outages - USB Type C 2-Bay

I got a 2 bay Type C device and I wanted to love this device.TL;DR - Overheating issues and failed Hard drive --> thrown out. Don't buy a fanless block for multiple drives. This is a basic design of an extruded metal case, small control board, power supply and decorative front door. I installed two drives to serve as two drives for my Mac: a 1.5TB shared data drive and a 2TB Time Machine drive. Both were full-size 3.5-inch hard drives. I've been thinking about what you're thinking.

Is it worth spending money on a cheap unknown RAID array instead of spending double or triple for a trusted brand? The short answer is yes. with reservation. I was looking for a RAID system to support video editing. Quality multi-drive case with a big caveat

First let me say that I really like this case, so much that I bought two of them, 4-bay and 5-bay, both USB 3.0 non-raid options. I love its aesthetic: simple, sleek, and clean, no shiny black plastic, nice front grille, and simple, no-fuss installation. As you can see from the first two photos, they even stack well on top of each other. No customer service, no quality control, defective parts, crappy manual

I bought a Yottamaster Type-C 5-bay case. But prior to purchase I contacted the company 2 weeks prior to buying the drive and asked if they would send me a copy of the drive's instruction manual as I wanted to see the installation guide first.
