The case looks great, works great, but the quality of the exhaust fan sucks.

Works as advertised, looks and build exceeded my expectations but after about 4 months of use the RGB exhaust fan is making a terrible rattling noise. I had to open it up (need a star shaped screw head) and disable the fan, I temporarily left one of the transparent side panels open and left it on its side to allow for disk ventilation. (Until I can find a replacement fan.) Okay. I do not recommend this.

Works great and looks great!

I've only been using it for a day but it works right out of the box I feel I can edit 4K videos fast enough when I'm using my new M1 Mac Mini am connected. I love the sheer amount of storage I can fit here (currently 37TB) and the fan seems to keep the hard drives spinning. cool enough. I'll post an updated review later, but so far so good!

Great case - looks very stylish!

The quality of this construction is excellent - the easy installation of the discs is a big plus. Decided to set up a software RAID so I just used a simple USB model, no DIP switches on the back for a hardware RAID configuration. Installed Seagate Barracuda Pro 4x12TB hard drives with no issues. Set up and configured in 5 minutes. So far, so good. Will update if something strange happens! Works as advertised but is VERY NOISY

Construction is excellent. The drive bays are top notch. Drives used in it from 1.5 TB to 8 TB. Everything works perfectly, the only criticism is the VERY LOUD fan. Too bad I didn't have space to put a soundproof enclosure.

Reliably working but noisy and the light won't turn off.

I bought this unit for its storage capacity versus the price. It's loaded with 5 x 10TB drives and works really well. Practical Problems/Daily Problems: 1. Cold booting or restarting the PC requires turning the device off and on. It cannot be mounted automatically when the power is cut off or the PC crashes.2. Beautifully designed and durable case. Unfortunately, the fan and the drives have "sleep mode " problems.

I really like the look and design of this unit, but due to an annoying feature/bug I'm giving it 4 stars. The fan is actually silent, but neither it nor the light sleeps when the system sleeps, even if the system is completely turned off. Drives don't actually go to sleep during normal system hibernation, although they *do* when the Win 10 system is either manually hibernated or manually shut down, such as via the start menu. Good RAID Enclosure with some drawbacks

First let me confirm that the excessive noise reported by other customers is REAL. The original 80mm fan with RGB LEDs (model QSCD 8025S) is VERY loud. Great little RAID with a few surprises

I bought this enclosure because it looks like Apple's latest generation Mac Pro had a baby baby with a custom built PC. I bought a 5 bay version of this case with built in RAID capabilities.
