Your Cable Store DB9 Serial Review

Good product, most cables are thinly coated and have questionable coupling errors. Not this, strong, thick cable and reliable connections.

Bought this cable because I needed to connect two "Atari joysticks" to a controller I was building. One of them, cut in half, made it. The wires in the cable were of good quality and soldered easily. Also, they connect to the pins in standard resistor color code order (black, brown, red, orange, etc.), so wiring it up was a breeze once I figured that out.

This cable helped me with my test kit. I tried using a DB9 RJ45 with a 50ft ethernet cable but for some reason it didn't work (fixed properly), thought my hardware was faulty but this cable worked with no problems. after use so it's not a mess and your hands get dirty, but what can you do.

Factory cord length was only long enough for units side by side, I had several extension cords but they didn't work? Bought this cable, now the washing machine talks to the dryer as it should?
