I wanted a case for Prismacolor pens that would protect them and make it easy to find the colors I need. That's great! The bag is well made and has a pocket on the front and a zipped pocket on the back. It's a bit tight with 4 pins in the slot but I think the elastic will loosen up over time. I bought an alpaca and I love the pattern and color. The price is very reasonable for the quality of the product.

In over 20 years of crocheting I have accumulated many needles and I had a habit of just throwing them in a small pencil case when I left the house. After seeing a recommendation online, I ordered one of these. It holds most of my hooks, even my long Tunisians! Only my mega-huge hooks 15+ mm do not fit. :-) I also have space for stitch markers, a small tape measure, scissors and my small needle bar PLUS two outside pockets for patterns and CGOA info.

I got this pen holder for my set of 36 Holbein colored pencils and several different pens. It is more convenient than larger capacity pencil case as it has no folding sheets to see all the pens. Just a quick glance and I see the whole set. I have sets of other pencils with large cases that I really like, it's just more convenient so I use them more often. The cover is bright and beautiful. The fabric feels durable and I believe it will last for years.

I bought this hoping to store my lovely crayons but I was definitely disappointed. The pens are only held in place by a thin stretchy band, meaning they are not secure at all. My tips broke off again and again due to a lack of security. This case might be perfect for a child or someone who doesn't have expensive pens to store, but if you have invested in nicer and more expensive artist tools I suggest you also invest in a case that will actually protect your pens. I like the size. It's compact yet holds plenty of colored pencils for almost any drawing. I have a larger pencil case for the big trips, but this is just the ticket if you don't feel the need to carry all the crayons you have. I love these pencil cases. I have my own and I bought this for my niece and nephew last Christmas and they love it! I've also gotten one from my mom in the past and she loves it!
