For killing flies and fruit flies. They are EXPANDABLE! With 5 you can have one in every room, so you can kill the fly right away instead of looking for it. So far they have been strong, albeit small. With the expansion, I now have an amazing aim and high percentage of flies on the first try. My parents live in the house of my mother and my daughter. This is bad. The impact area is about 1/3-1/2 the size of a standard fly swatter. They are slightly larger than a playing card. The metal extension is very thin and will bend if hit hard. Which you will have a lot because of the tiny fly swatter. Lengthening the rod drastically reduces accuracy so it is much better to leave it unstretched as the fly swatter is much stronger and more accurate.

Bought them because of the longer range. The periscope breaks very easily even with careful or light use. It was destroyed by the impact force. Not to mention the actual surface area of the fly swatter is tiny! So many mosquitoes and roaches have disappeared due to the long range (which is why I bought it) combined with the tiny surface area.
