Do not buy this item. Garbage. I have a 5mm Jagwire brake cable and they don't fit, too small. They are of such poor quality that you can crush them with your fingers. I paid 8.99 for something not worth 50 cents.

Jagwire tips doesn't come at a better price! I measured them and they are 5mm ID x 5.3mm OD ferrules which are used for brake cables and some of the new braided shifter cables.

The metal gauge of these tips is much thinner than usual. About 16 of them weigh about 2 grams and 16 standard brake housings weigh about 7 grams. The goal is to reinforce and thicken the end of the cable so it sits flat in its recess. They do not fulfill this function. They are so fragile that 8 out of 100 were deformed upon arrival. However, the bottle they come in is fantastic.
