Great alternative for open source alternatives

User friendly interface, easy to implement in applications with builtin support of SQL queries/statements as well as its ability supports all major programming languages (SQL or No Sql). Data can be stored locally which is useful when you don't have access to network connectivity sometimes. Lack of native compression options available at this moment would've been helpful but I guess we'll see it coming up soon from YB team itself! Its not bad yet since there are so many other databases thatโ€ฆ

  • Native integration for most popular platforms
  • Java / python scripting language libraries already implemented.
  • might come along later :)

  • None found just wish they had better documentation & tutorials online
