Then when I looked for genuine Canon branded ink I found that my printer uses a 270-271 cartridge (they are similar and the same size but the chip is different). I've been using Canon PIXMA printers for decades, but I've always used high-quality third-party inks. Always at least half the price of Canon ink and generally just as good if not better than Canon ink. These EZ inks are a delight - the color quality is great and oh my how long they last. I was hesitant to buy my new TR8520 because there were no third-party cartridges; now they exist and these EZ ink cartridges are amazing.

I used this to replace the ink in my Canon Pixma TS6120. Very easy to install. I printed over 250 pages of preschool materials, so the pages were pretty colorful. I barely used a quarter of magenta, cyan, yellow and black. I compared the pages to those printed with Canon inks and there was almost no difference. If you need to replace the ink in Pixma then this is what you need.

I am very satisfied with this alternative. I bought the TS6120 when it first came out and it was the most annoying Canon I've ever used. I tried another alternative but had to tug of war to get it back, the printer didn't recognize it after 2 days of trying. Then I tried several times. It went bankrupt. Very happy to have found a cartridge that fits my Canon Pixma TS6220. You have to be careful when removing the plastic from the cartridge or the ink may splatter a bit, but it prints well and is cheaper than any other ink I've found. I will buy more.

I ordered a full set of five cartridges for my TR8520. Easily installed in minutes. I printed some test photos and they look just as good as the original inks. Be careful not to pinch the sides of the carriages as this may cause ink to squirt out. I was surprised that you don't have to remove the tape before installing - it just makes installation easier. I ordered all trolleys in size XXL so I expect them to last a lot longer. Time will tell how long they last.
