I installed this cartridge in a HL-2140 which printed about 600 pages. Before that I always used Brother cartridges. According to the printer's internal log, each toner carriage printed approximately 2,000 pages. The first few pages were gray and dirty, with faint images of the old text printed alongside the new text. I had an old laser printer and was debating whether I should just buy a new one or replace the toner. Looking at the prices of the well-known Brother brand toners, I was more inclined to simply buy a new printer. lol. But I put in a little more effort to find a solution and found this! Fits the model I need. It was easy to install and cost less than $20! Prints great! Excellent purchase! I'll keep that on my list so I can come back to it if I need to replace it again.

Ordered for a Brother laser printer that I use for everyday printing at home. It gets a lot of use so it's time for a refill. I have used third party cartridges in these Brother printers at home and have worked with them almost exclusively for the past 6 years and overall I am happy with the quality. This EZ ink cart lives up to my expectations. Text and graphics print exactly as they should from the first page. I'm glad I bought a backup, but I don't think I'll need it for a while.

It doesn't last as long as a store bought brand name. But since they cost a fraction of this price, I'm still very satisfied. We get about half the runtime for an eighth the cost. It's worth it for me. I don't see any difference in print quality either. A very smart purchase!

I ordered this toner cartridge for my Brother printer and it was compatible. This was my first cartridge change so I was concerned it wouldn't be an easy process. The instructions made it super easy and it's a great value! Works the same as if I bought it from Brother without the high price! 100% recommendation to buy this product!

Addendum to my original review: I do not use this printer much. After a few hundred pages with this toner cartridge, the print quality began to deteriorate. The print wasn't as dark and the pages came out with a grainy gray cast. Cleaning the printer with compressed air did not help. I installed the original OEM toner cartridge and everything is back to normal. . . very sharp and clear. I used to be disappointed with aftermarket toner in other printers. I used an EZ Ink toner cartridge for almost two months before writing this review. The cartridge works great and I can't tell any difference in print quality between the EZ Ink and the Brother TN360 cartridge which I've been using for a number of years and which costs over $60. Can't comment on the durability of the EZ Inks yet, but I print a lot and so far they're working well. I highly recommend this cartridge. Thank you EZ Ink for saving me a lot of money. I am 100% satisfied with this 'clone' to replace so-called 'genuine' Brother toner cartridges. It's sold for a tiny fraction of the price Brother charges for its cartridge. There's just no reason to buy the original if you don't want to spend the extra money. Brother's price is higher than the cost of replacing the entire printer! do yourself a favor Save your printer --- Brother printers (to me at least) seem to last forever --- and buy a clone cartridge.
