🐶 Red Reflective Thermal Pet Jacket by Zack & Zoey Review

I ordered this item on 22nd JANUARY and it arrived on 1ST FEBRUARY 2012. It's cute, I order a size up for my beagle as he's a bit chunky for his size (I ordered L). But I would recommend other Beagle owners to buy the M. Made from fleece, which means it will (of course) trap and accumulate fur. It's also reversible, which I think is great. Made from 100% polyester.

just the right size, great style. The only thing I noticed is that it sounds and feels like there is a plastic bag or some type of foil between the layers of this coat. It's crumpled and noisy and I can't figure out if it's sewn into the lining on purpose or if it's a mistake because I bought 2 other different colors and they didn't have it. It's annoying and noisy, otherwise great coat and fast service.

This little dog jacket was bought as a Christmas present. The length of the coat is perfect and the recipient loved the fact that it's reversible. Also, I specifically chose this style which has velcro for the neck and under the belly as opposed to the style that requires you to thread the dog's legs through the sleeves which can be tricky and frustrating. I think I underestimated the diameter of the dog's belly because the recipient had to ask a seamstress friend to lengthen the strap to fit…

This is a very well made and attractive jacket with a good fit BUT the thermal core mentioned in the description is quite noisy. Sounds like a very thin metallic silver rescue blanket and makes the same sound, albeit muffled by the fleece material. I put it on my Daisy, a small and energetic pit bull mix who loves to jump from side to side and do pirouettes. Well, not with the one on her. If your dog isn't bothered by rustling noises, this is a great jacket. Otherwise skip it. I gave 4 stars…

Interesting, I forgot I originally gave this coat a positive review. I must have done this before any of my dogs wore their fur. Several concerns prompted me to update my comments. The rustle this coat makes when the dog moves bothers me a bit and worries my dogs. pit mix (not very broad chest) and/or my staffy (very broad chest) is too small for her girth or neck. A very fragile velcro that is not long and strong enough for a dog coat will be overused. Even though there is extra Velcro sewn in
