🕷️ Fuzzy Tarantula Costume by Zack & Zoey Review

Looks good. My pup has been wearing it for a few days and really likes it - it's comfortable (didn't use the tail hook). In fact, he seems less restless. I actually bought it too big and it slides a lot but it's happy and everyone else thinks it's the funniest thing they've ever seen. The wires in the legs could be a bit stronger to maintain power. You pull a little.

Super cute costume and well made. I have a 7 month old boxer puppy that weighs 47 pounds. I ordered a large one thinking it might be snug but the waist part is quite large. My dog has a deep chest but a thin waist so this can be an issue. Another issue is that the suit tends to slide on one side and the hood doesn't hold up so I have to constantly adjust. The length of the suit is also a bit short for my dog.

It is beautifully made. Our pup didn't mind wearing it at all - unusual - apparently it was comfortable. Looks almost great. It looks really great on the floor. What's missing is a single wire running from the top of one leg to the top of the opposite side. Shaped leg wires terminate at the spider's body. This will cause all legs to hang straight down when the dog stands up. If the wire were stretched along its entire length, the legs would hold their shape and stick out like a real arachnid…

Such a nice costume but not very well made. The hood doesn't quite fit the dog's head and doesn't have enough straps, it falls around the neck instead of staying on the dog's head. I ordered the correct size according to the chart but I had to adjust and sew on the main strap as it was too big. My dog was dressed up when we gave out candy and by the end of the night half his legs had fallen off! (see photo) The legs are not sewn very tightly. This suit is well made. My dog is small, stocky and weighs 50 pounds. It fused with her coat and created a fun illusion. She doesn't have much of a tail so that part doesn't stay in place, but the belt does a great job of keeping it on her cross. Like any hooded dog costume, it will never sit on your head. The bulging eyes were still pretty darn cute, even pushed back to her neck. Legs rotate and bend easily for different size dogs. I would like to post a video of her moving in it. Watching her

So I don't have a dog but I have a 5 year old who wanted to be a tarantula for Halloween. All of the baby tarantula costumes were outrageously expensive or not very pretty, so I bought this one and adapted it for my son. My mom made some adjustments, like ripping a seam to take the head off and adding additional similar fabric, but otherwise made simple adjustments to make it fit him. I have a Cocker Spaniel and he looked very/funny adorable in this costume. The costume itself is well made and looks just like the pictures. The dog put it on comfortably, the suit is soft and warm and tried to take it off in no time. And vice versa. I think he felt snuggly and comfortable and fell asleep in it several times.
