I ordered the "cool" mesh version. That thing is ridiculously small. As far as I know, they are made in China and are much smaller than American ones. But if you have a medium sized head (7"-7 1/2") or something close, don't waste your money. The thing is too small. Not even practical. Better to sell as a kippah. Satisfied with nothing.

My bald head is 7-3/8 and fits great. It almost reaches the bottom of the earlobe. Very comfortable under a helmet or hard hat and to protect your head from the sun. I have one or these that have lasted many years. The fabric, construction and comfort are as good as ever so I ordered 6 more the same day I received my first order. The coolmax fabric works well.

For decades I have always used a cloth for my balaclava. However, they and other balaclavas left a nice line on my forehead that would last most of the day. This balaclava leaves a small line but quickly disappears. Also useful on hot days. I just finished an 1800 mile trip with a 12 hour trip and this liner was perfect. Although it's not in fashion!

I use it to make my hair look good. After driving 20 minutes I have a few small spots on my forehead, but it's not serious. It would be great if it was a different color. It's easy to lose because it's small and black, which camouflages it with lots of things. It doesn't tighten my helmet. Another plus is that there are no hairs flying around the helmet, which can cause itching when riding.

I bought this to wear under a motorcycle helmet. It's cool and comfortable. Worn at the start of the Dempsey Challenge 2013. It was cold this morning - around 50 - and this liner fitted perfectly under my helmet and kept my head really warm. Really too warm. After about 10 miles I had to swap it out for a lighter skullcap, which I plan to do, so I'm not giving it a star for that. I bought this balaclava to use with my GATH Gedi helmet. My helmet fits fairly well with or without this balaclava and the balaclava is the perfect weight to ward off the cold winds during the winter months. The fleece upper is warm and breathable, while the neoprene band keeps the lining in place comfortably and snugly. All seams are smooth and comfortable and appear to be quite solid. I had to return this product. It is very small and almost does not stretch. I wear standard XL motorcycle helmets from almost every brand. This hat barely fit over my head. It can stretch over time, but adding to the sizing issues, it consists of two very thick seams that run across the forehead.
