🪚 Zar 31041 Red Oak Wood Patch, 3 oz. Review

This wood is said to be paintable but it isn't. I think you could use it on light wood but as I work with dark wood I won't buy it again.

Much better than ordinary putty. Easier to apply from the tube and good at coloring. It can also be sanded and drilled after drying. I'll definitely keep it handy.

excellent material. The color is the darker side of Red Oak. I also used mahogany red paint for the stair posts and railings, which absorbs stains just like wood. In most cases, precolored fillers are not recommended for coloring.

I've been using Zar Red Oak Patch for 10 years. I was introduced to him by a soil specialist. I have tried it on pieces of furniture I have made and have been pleased with the results. Color matching is much easier when I start with this red oak filler.
