I ordered it in February this year. Failed on 09/27/2021. I know electrical components are out of warranty, but I suggest you buy them from your local auto parts store. Most come with a decent warranty that will replace them in the event of a failure.

My problem was that I lost the 'high speed' setting on my AC, cold air but no boost. Resistor and fan changed. Took my time so 1.5 hours. I will do the same for my wife's car, also a 2014 Equinox. Should only take 30 minutes now. It is very easy to install both. Only 24 hours have passed and the fan is blowing very cold air with more force. Now I have to turn the handle down at high speed with two levels of ventilation. Very happy with the facility.

The fan on my 2009 Silverado stopped working. After scouring the internet and YouTube videos, I found that this part was most likely the source of my problem. The video showing how to install it looks pretty easy so I ordered the part. The relay was easily accessible by removing the glove box. I removed the old part and replaced it with the new one. Problem solved. Simple repairs and a $30 part got my air conditioner and heater working like new.

Part shorted out just over 2 months after installation. Chevy actually redesigned the part so it will look completely different when you buy it brand new at your local parts store. Item may be defective for technical reasons. I had to get my car repaired urgently because a shorted resistor stopped the fan even after turning the car off and removing the key. I replaced it with one from the local parts store and threw that in the trash where it belonged. You get what you pay for.
