💨 Enhanced Efficiency with ZE-268S5 4 Speed Pull Chain Switch Review

This was the perfect replacement for my Hunter 4 speed fan. I used to replace the original 4 speed derailleur with a 3 speed derailleur because that was all I could find. I'm so happy to have all speeds available again in a predictable pattern!

A new rear derailleur was installed this week. Before installing a new switch, be sure to check the wiring of the old switch; Place the wires in the same orientation so the wire color matches the number on the new switch. Works like new! Very satisfied.

Great replacement for a chained Casablanca fan. Installation is easy, but this switch actually has 5 positions: high, medium, low, off, off. My fan only has 4 settings: high, medium, low and off so now I have 2 settings off. No problem, works great!

The product works better than the original. Smooth chain tension. Pleasantly surprised by the quality. Pretty simple build. The wires are tight. Wires will need to be cut to replace the original switch, so keep that in mind. All cables went in the same place as in the original. If you can install a ceiling fan, you can. Very satisfied.

Have 3 Hunter ceiling fans with "serene" speed (super slow). We like quiet speed. This is enough to move the air without blowing. Our chain came off and we couldn't find the 4 speed derailleur. Hunter just sold us all of the internal electrical stuff, which in 2015 was about $36 plus tax and shipping. Luckily I was able to fix it myself. We later had wear on the inside and were able to locate it. that works great. 1 star deducted because it cost me over 12€. Although worth it if you need it…
