Buy two of these and pair them together because I have to carry two separate radios to work to control several different frequencies. I wish the strap was a little stronger but I don't use it for its intended purpose.

I'm retired and working on a beautiful alpine lake in the summer. One of my greatest practical concerns was the stewardship of the valuable portable radio that was given to me. For obvious reasons, you don't want to dump it in a lake at any depth. This multifunctional suitcase holder with a SECURE yet easily accessible clip is just what I needed.

Poorly designed strap/buckle/stop to hold the radio. This applies to properties other than radio. Enable microphone and headphone jacks. Also, it hampers finishing because the tension is not adjustable. This is shock cordage. DISSATISFIED! However, I can't go back because I already damaged the cable trying to stretch it. Might be good for another application. Buyers beware of the situation but still poor design for most potential uses.

Beautiful, well-made product. Fits perfectly with Baofent UV 82. There is elastic on the sides, so little but not much. The attachment strap uses an elastic band and has some stretch, but it is not adjustable, as is the buckle on the strap. The case fits my Wuoxan great, but not my UV5R with larger batteries, so I have to use smaller batteries when carrying my UV5R. When used as a chest strap, the radio may fall over on the side of the radio where the antenna is installed, making it difficult to carry. I switched to wearing it on my belt and that seems to have fixed the issue. Even with these two flaws the unit is well made and I would recommend it if your radio fits.

Ordered this for the working radios I usually carry with me. I was hoping it would work but when I got it it was very small so it doesn't work with the regular sized Motorola radios used in my line of work and even the radio as it hooks up to the Shoulder strap built in, it hangs sideways and is still uncomfortable.
