Best I've ever had

I don't like giving 5 star reviews when I'm just not happy with a product but this item was the best out of 3 the last 2 months. I drive Lyft and Uber and use it every day. The one I've had in the past was either underpowered, or the wireless charging didn't work through my thin case, or the suction didn't work well anymore. It has lasted me a few weeks with no problems. It charges fairly quickly and the suction power isn't letting up yet. The extension moves a little on the intake manifold…

This wireless charger exceeded my expectations in every way, from the easy setup to being USB-C powered (with the cable that came with it) charging my iPhone XS Max via OtterBox. I have found that you can easily move the charger around to use the phone horizontally while charging. 5 star customer service, smooth mount that just doesn't open wide enough.

I wanted this to work for me. I like the sleek look and the mounting options. I also like the Type-C USB connection. But it only opens up to 3 3/8 inches, so it doesn't fit into a Galaxy Note 9 with an Otterbox case without UNWANTED force/excitement. In the world of big phones, I think that's a terrible oversight. I REALLY WANTED TO LIKE IT!

Had to return after the first day. Within 1 minute of connecting my phone it said to stop charging because it was too hot! This has never happened before. And it happened twice with this charger. I even tried unplugging the device and just charging it the old fashioned way, but it was still way too hot. Sad day.
